Motorbikes – Which Type?
Motorbikes are made to fit many purposes. And because of that every motorbike is slightly different based on what it’s build purpose was.
There are so many uses for motorbikes which is why more and more people are buying them compared to 10 years ago.
As I’m sure you know it can be a nightmare travelling in a car in built up areas or cities because of all the traffic jams. A lot of the time it would be quicker to walk yet we still use the car.
Motorbikes are the way to go because you avoid all of this and can cut through the traffic jams as if they weren’t there. There are more and more enviromentally friendly bikes being built and sold at the moment that focus on low fuel consumption. These bikes are known as town bikes and are a great way to travel.
You may have noticed that the racing bikes have pretty much no luxuries on them. They’re designed for one thing and that is speed and getting round corners fast.
I’m sure you’ve also seen the bikes with the luggage rack on the back. These bikes are made for long distance travel and are nice and comfy.
And then there are the bikes built to fit the biker image. They are just built for their looks and coolness. They’re always noisy so everyone knows they’re around. These bikes aren’t about speed or comfort. They’re all about the image.
And then there are the totally different types of bikes we know of called off road bikes. Designed to allow us to travel on the bumpiest of terrains and venture into exciting territory that we otherwise couldn’t go to with any other bike.
And as I’m sure you know, it’s really important to be safe on your bike. So wear a helmet and padding. And don’t worry you’ll still look cool!
No matter whether you have a little town bike to get you to work or a noisy aggressive Harley you’ll still get that sense of freedom you just wouldn’t get with a car.
